Oyster Rockefeller

Recipe by Rob Jones

Oysters Rockefeller is a classic seafood dish originating from the United States, specifically New Orleans. Gulf Coast or East Coast oysters are shucked and topped with a luxurious blend of finely chopped spinach, parsley, butter, breadcrumbs, and sometimes anise-flavored liqueur. Baked or broiled until golden and bubbling, the result is a harmonious combination of tender oysters and a decadent, herb-infused topping. Served as an appetizer in upscale restaurants, Oysters Rockefeller showcases the richness of American cuisine and the bountiful flavors of the sea.
